Coleraine is approximately one hour’s drive from Aldergrove International Airport and Belfast City. City of Derry Airport is 40 minutes drive.


The Port of Belfast and Larne are within one hours drive and offer regular services to the rest of the United Kingdom and Europe.

The local Magilligan – Greencastle ferry, only 10 miles away, offers a quick link to the South of Ireland.


Coleraine Borough has excellent cycling provision. Route 93 of the National Cycle Network passes through Coleraine via the Millennium Bridge. There are endless walking opportunities in the area. If you want to see a bit of Coleraine and keep fit at the same time try the Highway to Health Trail, starting at Coleraine Leisure Centre which can be walked in approximately 35 minutes and is suitable for people of all ages. For historical buffs try the walking Heritage Trail round Coleraine town centre. The Trim Trail at Coleraine forest combines a forest walk with exercise challenges. Additional woodland walking and running trails can be found in Somerset forest, Mountsandel Forest and Springwell Forest, all within close proximity to the town centre.
