Coleraine Leisure CentreColeraine Leisure Centre

Coleraine Leisure Centre is situated at Railway Road in Coleraine. A visit to the Superpools complex is a must with both slides and two pools available. Other facilities include Bodytalk, a state of the art  fully air conditioned fitness studio, the Gallery Health Suite and the Sports Cafe.  The leisure centre is open 7 Days a week and also offers badminton, squash, table tennis, indoor football etc.

Damhead RailwayDamhead Railway

Damhead Railway is the perfect place for the young and the young-at-heart. It is open to the public twice a month during the summer. Facilities include a snack shop and picnic area and if the weather is inclement then indoor facilities are available.  Train rides cost Adults £2 and children £1


Coleraine MarinaColeraine Marina

It is ideally situated in sheltered water and convenient to the Main Road. There is ample parking for cars and boat trailers. The Marina offers superb facilities for Cruisers, Dinghy Sailing, Canoeing, Water Skiing, Angling and all associated water sports.

St Patrick’s Church

Situated in the heart of Coleraine town centre, St. Patrick’s Church is located on the original site of the Early Christian Church founded by St. Patrick in the 5th Century AD. Visitors are welcome but are advised to check opening times by telephoning the Parish Office on: 028 7034 4213.

Mountsandel FortMountsandel Fort

Mountsandel Fort is the setting for the remains of the earliest known hunter-gatherer settlements in Ireland, dating before 7000BC. Today, you can still see the remains of the 12th century Mountsandel Fort, on the Mountsandel Road just outside the town. While you are there be ensure to enjoy the woodland and Riverside walks.


Round the RampantsRound the Ramparts

Use the Heritage Walking Trail ‘Round the Ramparts’ to find out more about Coleraine Town centre’s history. The trail starts at the Town Hall and traces a circular route around the ramparts  of the 17th century plantation town.  This booklet is available to purchase through the Tourist Information Centre.
